"There are rooms where the real conversation happens. Most professional spaces are not those rooms."

The Strategic Leadership Consortium exists to change that.

SLC is a private, invitation-based executive forum for senior leaders navigating high-stakes decisions in a rapidly changing environment. We are cross-sector by design, closed-door by principle, and candid by necessity. We exist because the leaders who most need a genuine peer space — the ones whose decisions shape organizations, markets, policy — are the least well-served by what the professional world currently offers.

Conferences perform. Industry associations network. Training programs target the tier below you. None of them give you a room where the thinking is honest, the peers are genuine, and the stakes are the same as yours.

SLC does.

Why SLC Exists

SLC wasn’t designed in a boardroom or workshopped by a committee. It was built by three senior practitioners who needed it first.

Founders Kruti Kapadia, Maya Larson, and Cindi Johnson each built successful careers and businesses in an industry that was, within a remarkably short period, fundamentally destabilized. What they found in each other during that period — a space that was genuinely safe, genuinely candid, and genuinely useful — was something the professional world rarely offers at the executive level.

They recognized, with the clarity that comes from having lived it, that what they had built for themselves was exactly what senior leaders across industries are starving for and cannot find. So they built it for others. That origin is not incidental to what SLC is. It is the reason it works.

What SLC Offers

Executive forum

A closed door space where consequential leaders can think out loud, challenge each other’s assumptions, and engage in the kind of strategic dialogue that organizational life rarely permits.

Cross-sector perspective

Public and private sector leaders in the same room, on equal footing, without the distortion of sponsors or institutional agenda. The cross-sector dynamic is a deliberate asset, not an accident of outreach.

Trusted relationships

Built over time through intellectual rigor and candor, not business cards and follow-up emails.

Founder-led facilitation

Convened by practitioners who have operated at the level they serve. There is no gap between the people in the room and the people running it.

Who Belongs Here

SLC is designed for senior executives at the level where decisions don’t stay inside the building. C-suite and senior VP leaders. Deputy Secretaries and agency heads. Chiefs of Staff and heads of transformation. Wearers of Many Hats. Leaders whose titles vary but whose weight is the same.

If you have outgrown what conferences, associations, and peer networks currently offer — if you want depth over visibility and candor over comfort — you may be exactly who this room was built for.

Membership is by invitation. We think you’ll understand why.

A room where the conversation is honest, the peers are genuine, and the thinking has actual weight.”

That is what we built. That is what we are launching. SLC is currently forming its founding member cohort. If you are a senior executive operating at the intersection of strategy, consequence, and complexity — and you are ready for a professional space that takes you seriously — we would like to talk.
